Mohamed Salah with his strike against Newcastle United in the ongoing Premier League match has created a record.
He has become the first Liverpool player to score 20 or more goals in three different Premier League seasons.
Salah joined Liverpool in the 2017/18 season and since then has gone from strength to strength under Jurgen Klopp.
He scored 32 goals in his first season for the Reds followed by 22 goals in his next season.
In the current season, he has hit the back of the net 20 times in 31 appearances.
Salah’s consistency in front of goal has been one of the few positives in a grim Liverpool season this time. The Reds title defence has fallen flat due to poor performances and injuries.
Liverpool is currently vying for a top 4 finish as they hope to secure a Champions League spot next season.
Mohamed Salah is the 2nd highest scorer in the Premier League this season after Harry Kane and would push for a Golden Boot award with another five matches left in the season.
Salah has scored 128 goals in the Premier League for Liverpool since his move to Anfield in 2017.
