IPL 2021 DC vs PBKS: Delhi Capitals against Punjab Kings, Know who can win the next match?

IPL 2021-DC vs PBKS-Delhi Capitals against Punjab Kings, Know who can win the next match?-The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings on Sunday, the main match will be seen between the top order of both the teams which will also test the captaincy skills of Rishabh Pant.

Both teams will go into this match after losing their previous match but Delhi Capitals definitely look like a strong team on paper and in such a situation their weight seems heavy.

As far as captaincy in the IPL is concerned, Pant is inexperienced. In the last match, he did not meet his veteran bowler Ravichandran Ashwani’s quota which led to the loss to the team. He relied on Tom Karen’s medium pace bowling instead.

Enrich Norzia could be included in the playing XI for this match which will bolster the team’s bowling attack as Chris Maurice and David Miller took advantage of Karen’s medium pace bowling in the previous match.

Punjab Kings on the other hand suffered defeat against Chennai Super Kings due to the failure of their batsmen. His batsmen had no answer to Deepak Chahar’s extra bounce and movement.

The pitch of the Wankhede Stadium is raising some questions in front of the top-order batsmen in the floodlights. Due to the moisture, fast bowlers are getting help on this pitch. In such a situation, it will be interesting to play against KL Rahul vs Kagiso Rabada and Chris Woakes vs Chris Gayle. Similarly, if Prithvi Sauv will try to blunt the sharp bowling of Mohammed Shami, Shikhar Dhawan will try to dominate the disciplined bowling Arshdeep Singh.

Both teams have strong batsmen in the top order. The Delhi team is heavily dependent on Sauv, Dhawan and Pant, while Rahul, Gayle and Deepak Hooda are playing the same role in the Punjab team.

Even the weaknesses of the two teams are the same. If Ajinkya Rahane’s lack of power hitting and poor form of Marcus Stoinis is affecting the middle order of Delhi, Mayank Agarwal’s long-standing inferior form and Nicholas Pooran’s weakness of playing short pitch balls are good news for Punjab Are not.

Delhi’s attack looks strong in the presence of Rabada, Norjiya and Ashwin while no other bowler from Punjab is able to leave an impact. Zhai Richardson and Riley Meredith, bought at a hefty price, have so far failed. Spinner Murugan Ashwin could not do anything so that Delhi head coach Ricky Ponting and captain Pant are upset in some way.

The teams are as follows –

Punjab Kings: KL Rahul (Captain), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Mandeep Singh, Prabhasimran Singh, Nicholas Puran, Sarfaraz Khan, Deepak Hooda, Murugan Ashwin, Ravi Bishnoi, Harpreet Brar, Mohammed Shami, Arshadip Singh, Ishan Porel, Darshan Nalakande, Chris Jordan, David Malan, Jhay Richardson, Shah Rukh Khan, Riley Meredith, Moises Henriques, Jalaj Saxena, Utkarsh Singh, Fabian Allen, Saurabh Kumar.

The match will start at 7.30 pm.
