According to Pakistani media, Akhtar’s mother was taken to the hospital after her health deteriorated but she could not be saved. Shoaib Akhtar is remembered as the fastest bowler in international cricket. He has played 46 Tests, 163 One Day Internationals, and 15 T20 Internationals for Pakistan.
