Goa opens for all Tourists, No Need of COVID-19 Negative Certificate

Good news for you happy travelers all!!

Goa’s State chief minister Pramod Sawant confirmed on Monday that the state is now open for all the tourists.

Plus, people also don’t need to show a COVID-19 negative certificate or even more, they don’t need to take the corona test.

There is also good news for tipplers, bars are now allowed to open in Goa from September 1 as part of Unlock 4, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant confirmed on Monday.

He also said that that the state will strictly adhere to the home ministry guidelines and take necessary precautions for the reopening of bars.

But, also remember that beach-side shacks will not be open for now but are likely to reopen from October.

He also said the decision was in line with the center’s new guidelines.

“Earlier testing was compulsory for those wanting to enter Goa. But now it will not be mandatory,” said Sawant.

The Chief Minister said that if someone is found symptomatic then the person can get tested in the state. “There is also no restriction on the inter-state movement of people, vehicles.”

Also note that on the demise of former President Pranab Mukherjee, there will be no functions as the state will be observing seven days of mourning. So, plan your journey accordingly.

Goa on Sunday has recorded around 451 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, taking the state’s COVID tally to cross 17,004.

As per the data reported by the various media, there may be 3,635 active Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and 13,186 recoveries, while 183 people have died due to the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19).
