In the last 24 hours, India recorded 40,120 new covid-19 cases and 585 deaths.
The number of new cases of Covid-19 reported lower than yesterday, the fatality rate decreased in the last few days.
According to the Ministry of Health and family welfare -Government of India
India’s recovery rate increases to 97.46%.
42,295 Covid-19 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals and went back to their homes in last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the Daily positivity rate remains 2.04% which is less than 3% in 50 consecutive days.
Active cases constitute 1.20% of total cases.
