Under-19 World Cup 2022: The Indian team has announced the names of its players for the Under-19 World Cup to be held in January next year. Siddharth Yadav, a resident of Ghaziabad, has also been successful in making a place in this team of India. Siddharth’s father runs a ration shop.

After this special achievement of the son, there is an atmosphere of happiness in the whole house. People coming to his shop are congratulating him. This young Indian team has to participate in the Under-19 Asia Cup before the World Cup. For the preparation of which the entire team is currently sweating at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. The same World Cup is to be played in West Indies.

Siddharth’s father also wanted to play cricket for India

Siddharth Yadav’s father Shravan Yadav, who was selected in India’s Under-19 team, runs a grocery store in Ghaziabad. Although at one time he also wanted to play cricket for the Indian team. But his cricketing career was confined to bowling in the nets to former India cricketer Manoj Prabhakar in Ghaziabad. But now his son has fulfilled this dream of his. Siddharth (Sidharth Yadav) had inherited cricket from his father.

After his son was selected for the Indian team, Shravan Yadav said, “When Siddharth was young, it was his dream that his son would play cricket one day. When his son held the bat for the first time and he was standing on the left hand. Seeing this, my mother said that how it has turned upside down. I said this would be his stance and since then he is a left-handed batsman.

Hard work has been done to bring the son here

Behind this special achievement of Siddharth Yadav, the hard work of his father Shravan Yadav is also hidden. Siddharth’s cricket started in a serious way at the age of 8. Siddharth worked hard to fulfill his father’s dream. Every day in the afternoon, Shravan would take his son to the nearby ground and throw down that Siddharth had to play straight with the bat.

During a conversation with the Indian Express, Shravan said, I made sure that he does this exercise for about 3 hours. I used to close my shop at 2 pm and then we would stay in the ground till 6 pm. After this, he returns to the shop in the evening. Eat food at 10:30 in the night and then sleep. And now his son has made his hard work completely successful.
