42-year-old Joessa, who played 30 Tests and 95 ODIs for Sri Lanka, was involved in corrupt activities as bowling coach of the Sri Lankan team during the T10 tournament held in the UAE in 2017. Charges were made in 2018. Joessa has also previously been the bowling coach of the Sri Lanka A team.
