Yogi Adityanath puts Uttar Pradesh on high alert mode for Corona third wave and especially focus on pediatric care: The government said that on Tuesday the government is sparing efforts to expanding all the healthcare facilities for children across the state and making foolproof arrangements including pediatric ICUs and Neonatal ICUs in almost every medical college and district hospital.

Approx more than 10,000 pediatric ICUs (PICU) have been established in the state with the help of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Assuming fears that the third wave will mostly affect children, pediatric ICUs have been increased to 6,522 in medical colleges across the state.

Besides, over 3,000 PICUs and isolation wards have been already prepared for treatment in the other government hospitals.
