Playing in reply, Bangladesh won the match by making 112 for one wicket in the 21st over.

After winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bowl first, which proved correct. West Indies lost their first wicket to Kyle Myers. He got out after scoring 17 runs. After him, Brooks was dismissed for five, and Shai Hope scored 18 runs. From here, one player after another went out. Keemo Paul scored an unbeaten 25 runs from the lower order.
He was also the highest run scorer for the team. West Indies team was reduced to a modest score of 108 runs in 35 overs. Mehdi Hasan took four wickets while bowling excellently for Bangladesh. Apart from him, Nasum Ahmed also took three wickets.
Chasing a modest target, Bangladesh started well. Opener batsman Tamim Iqbal and Najmul Hossain put together a 48-run partnership for the first wicket. Meanwhile, Najmul got out after scoring 20 runs.
From here, Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das played wisely and did not let any other wicket fall. Both took the Bangladesh team to 112 for one wicket in the 21st over and won. Tamim Iqbal remained unbeaten on 50. Liton Das played an innings of 32, not out.
