Shardul Thakur Is A Magician- Aakash Chopra

Shardul Thakur Is A Magician- Aakash Chopra: Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra believes that the team’s fast bowler Shardul Thakur has some fantastic ‘strength’ due to which he always takes wickets at crucial points of the match.

Let us tell you, in the first ODI between West Indies and India played on 22 July, Thakur took two wickets for 54 runs in 8 overs. Due to his bowling, India won this match by three runs. Thakur took the wickets of Kyle Meyers and Shamrah Brooks. Both the players were at the crease at that time and were leading their team to victory. But Thakur took the wickets of both those players at crucial times.

Aakash Chopra has shared a video about the performance of Indian bowlers on his YouTube channel. He said, ‘Lord Thakur has some power by which he comes at the right time and takes wickets. There was an essential partnership between Kyle Meyers and Shamrah Brooks for the second wicket, but Thakur took the wicket of not one but both. Had he not taken these wickets then, perhaps India would have lost this match much earlier.

Aakash Chopra said that perhaps Dhawan did not get Thakur’s entire overs because he was proving too expensive. He felt that now he would not be able to take wickets. But it is not like Thakur had struck the host’s heart.

Mohammad Siraj is doing very well: Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra also praised Mohammad Siraj and Yuzvendra Chahal. He said, ‘Siraj bowled very well in the beginning when the West Indies team came out to bat. Siraj Miyan is doing very well. Shai Hope’s bad times are still going on, so he also got out early in this match. Yuzvendra Chahal also bowled amazingly.

Regarding the bowling performance of the famous Krishna and Axar Patel, Aakash Chopra said, “The famous Krishna and Axar Patel looked a bit upset in this match. It may be due to injury, but Akshar’s performance has been mediocre over the last few games. Famous Krishna is looking to do well, but he has failed to take wickets.
