Kohli has been rested from the five-match T20I series against West Indies at his request. In the Test match against England, he scored 31 runs in both innings while scoring 12 runs in two T20s and 33 runs in two ODIs. However, captain Rohit Sharma has been defending him from time to time regarding his form.
