By SL-W vs IND-W: India Thrashed Sri Lanka By 39 Runs In The Final ODI: The Indian women’s team defeated Sri Lanka by 39 runs in the third and final ODI to win the series 3-0. Playing first, Indian women scored 255 runs for nine wickets. Playing in the retaliatory innings, the Sri Lankan team got out after scoring 216 runs in the 48th over.
Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bowl first. This decision proved to be correct. Indian opener Smriti Mandhana was dismissed after scoring just six runs. Shefali Verma and Yastika Bhatia put together an exemplary half-century partnership.
Meanwhile, Bhatia returned to the pavilion after scoring 30 and Shefali 49. A few wickets fell from here, but captain Harmanpreet Kaur took the lead. He batted responsibly and scored a fifty. Apart from him, Pooja Vastrakar also scored fifty while batting.

Harmanpreet got out after scoring 75 runs. Pooja Vastrakar played an innings of 56, not out. Thus India scored 56 runs for nine wickets. Ranveera, Rashmi de Silva and Atapattu took two wickets each for Sri Lanka.
In reply, Sri Lanka lost the wicket of Vishmi Gunaratne. She got out after scoring three runs. His Atapattu and Hasini Perera scored 44 and 39, respectively. From here, wickets fell at frequent intervals.
Nilakshi de Silva scored an unbeaten 48 runs standing at one end, but there was no support from the other batters, and the team was dismissed for 216 runs. Rajeshwari Gaikwad took three wickets for India. Meghna Singh and Pooja Vastrakar took two wickets each.
