PSL Season 6-Pakistan Super League-PSL 6: Bio-bubble broken multiple times and security compromised: PCB-An independent inquiry committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the bio-bubble (bio-safe environment) prepared for the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been on several occasions. Was broken and compromised with security.

The PCB had constituted a two-member committee to investigate the breach in the bio-bubble of PSL 6.

The committee comprising Dr. Syed Faisal Mehmood and Dr. Salma Muhammad Abbas submitted the final report to PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani on 31 March.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief will now study the report and share its details with the cricket board members before taking a decision.

A source associated with the committee said that no particular person has been convicted in the report. The report confirmed that the bio-bubble had been compromised since the tournament in Karachi.

The source said that the committee has also recommended how the board can ensure safe bio-bubble for stakeholders on the resumption of PSL 6 in June.

PSL six was postponed after just 10 matches in March due to cases involving Kovid-19.

According to the source, experts in the report said that some stakeholders gave information about the breakdown of the bio-bubble but PCB officials did not take it seriously.
