By EPL-Premier League 2021: Southampton currently postpone the threat of relegation (sliding into the lower league) in the English Premier League (EPL) football competition after beating Burnley 3–2 after trailing by two goals.
This is the team’s second win since the league’s start in January.
Burnley took a 2–0 lead on Sunday with goals from Chris Wood and Matej Wydra but Stuart Armstrong, Danny Ings and Nathan Redmond scored to give Southampton the victory.
With this win, the team’s name has gone up to 36 points in 30 matches and they remain 13th in the table. Burnley are 15th in the table of 20 teams with 33 points in the same number of matches.
