SYDNEY, Sept. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Global software company Nuix (www.nuix.com) today announced that Nuix DiscoverⓇ has been assessed and approved to store and process data classified as PROTECTED or lower under the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s (ACSC) Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP). This assessment shows that Nuix offers one of the highest standards of cybersecurity and information security for processing and storing government information.
Nuix serves large government agencies around the world including intelligence, defence and law enforcement agencies. The IRAP assessment, conducted by an independent auditor, assures Australian Government agencies that Nuix’s policies, procedures, people and technology maintain the controls required by the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM).
“Protecting data from access, abuse or disclosure is fundamental to all that we do, and an intrinsic part of our software development,” said Rolf Krolke, Global Head of Technical Services at Nuix. “As we develop more software for the cloud, putting ourselves through the rigour of assessments ensures our systems have the highest security and verifies to Australian Government agencies that Nuix’s privacy and security meet the high standards set out by the ACSC.”
“The IRAP assessment demonstrates Nuix’s ongoing support for our Australian federal, state and law enforcement government customers, especially as they accelerate their adoption of our cloud services,” commented Gerard Byrne, Nuix General Manager for Government & Public Sector.
