Marathi actor Mayuresh Kotkar gets bail 2 days after arrest for Facebook post

Marathi actor Mayuresh Kotkar got bail on Wednesday, two days after he was arrested for making alleged derogatory comments against Maharashtra urban development minister Eknath Shinde and his family over the naming of the upcoming international airport in Navi Mumbai.

Shiv Sena corporator Yogesh Jankar, who filed the police complaint against Kotkar, said use of “objectionable or defamatory” language for any person or his family was not acceptable.
