KP Sharma Oli was sworn as Prime Minister of Nepal
KP Sharma Oli was sworn in as Nepal’s Prime Minister for the third time on Friday, days after he lost a vote of confidence in Parliament.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari managed the vow of office and mystery to Oli, 69, at a function at Shital Niwas, after he was reappointed to the post on Thursday night as the Opposition parties neglected to get lion’s share seats in Parliament to frame another administration.
At present 136 votes are needed to form a majority government.
