By Kapil Dev bats for best of three WTC finals to determine the winner
India’s 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev said he would have preferred a best of three final to determine the winner of the World Test Championship. India and New Zealand are set to square off in the first-ever WTC final starting from June 18 in Southampton, England.
“I would have preferred more than just one match to decide such an important title. Of course, these days it is not a big thing to prepare for a match. It helps to play a few matches in those conditions but that can’t be an excuse,” Kapil told sources.
