Ben Stokes surprised everyone by retiring from ODI cricket on 18 July. In all three formats, Ben Stokes has led the England team to victory in many matches with his all-around performance. He has given everyone a significant blow by retiring from ODI cricket.
Many people are still wondering why Stokes decided to retire. Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan blamed the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and said he was behind the players’ early retirement. Former team batsman Kevin Pietersen has also supported Vaughan and blamed the English management for the same.
