IPL 2021-RCB’s Daniel Samms found Covid-19 positive: Australian all-rounder Daniel Sams of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was found Covid-19 positive on Wednesday ahead of the Indian Premier League starting here on April 9.
According to a statement issued on RCB’s Twitter handle, the 28-year-old Australian all-rounder arrived in India on April 3 and had a negative report of the Covid-19 test at the time.
RCB said, “The report of his (Sam’s) second test on April 7 has come out positive.” Symes is not showing any symptoms right now and is undergoing segregation in a fixed medical facility. “
According to the statement,” The Royal Challengers Bangalore medical team is constantly in contact with Daniel Symes and will monitor his health and the BCCI Will follow the rules of covid.
The RCB team will take on the defending champions Mumbai Indians on Friday in the first match of the tournament. Symes has played only three IPL matches in his IPL career so far.
