One of the most successful captains in the IPL with 5 titles to his name ha bagged this position by getting 23 times 50+ runs as a captain in the IPL history. Having played a total of 205 matches with an average of 31 and strike rate of 130 ahs scored a total of 5431 runs so far.

MS Dhoni (CSK) 22:

With his powerful ability to destroy bowlers of any kind, with his calm and composed attitude has bagged the 5th position in this list of 50+ runs by a captain by getting this 22 times in the IPL. Played a total of 208 matches and scoring 4667 runs with an average of 40 and strike rate of 136 is still one of the best in the world.
