The pandemic has this year IPL quite different and with the T20 world championship just around the corner. The IPL servers a catalyst to provide top players for their side. But unfortunately a few foreign had to leave the IPL season due to various reasons. Let’s look at the to 5 players to do so.
Josh Hazlewood (CSK):
Josh had to be a part of the CSK franchise for the 2021 season of the IPL. He decided to skip the IPL due to the pandemic and the constant feeling of being in the “bubbles and quarantines”. He is also part of the New South Wales team and keeping all this in mind has decided to skip the IPL this season.
Mitchell Marsh (SRH):
Marsh took to twitter when he announced that he will not take part of this season of the IPL due to personal reason. Another Australian and an all-rounder who, concerned about staying long times in the bio-bubble, did not comfortable and decided to skip the IPL.
Liam Livingstone (RR):
The RR franchise took to the news to announce that Liam will leave end his season with the RR and fly back due to the reason that he was feeling the quarantine effects and quite a bit fatigued due to the bio-bubble.
Ben Stokes (RR):
RR faced another blow when the all-rounder had a finger injury and had to fly back to the UK to get a surgery done on the inured finger. The franchise and all the players wish him a speedy recovery and is back in form for the T20 championship.
Jofra Archer (RR):
Blow after blow for the RR. He injured after a fish tank accident back home, he was ruled out of the Ind vs Eng series. And he did expect to make a come back for the IPL but couldn’t get the green signal and will still be ruled out of the IPL 2021 season.
