By Haryana on Monday announced a state-wide night curfew between 9pm and 5am effective immediately, citing the recent surge in the number of Covid-19 cases in the state. All non-essential movement during the curfew hours has been banned by the government and the curfew would remain in place until further orders.
“Any person violating these measures will be liable to be proceeded against as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section 188 of the IPC, and other legal provisions as applicable,” the government order said.
