Fish fillets -6 (any white fish fillets. 6-10inches each )
Butter-2 tablespoons ( melted )
Lemon juice -2 tablespoons
Garlic cloves – 2 (minced )
Chopped parsley -1 tablespoon
Salt and ground black pepper -as per taste
Red chilli flakes – 1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil – 1/2 teaspoon
Ingredients to make the Lemon butter sauce:
Butter- 1/2cup
Lemon juice -4 tablespoons
Garlic pods-4 minced
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Fresh Parsley -1 teaspoon (chopped )
Coriander leaves or cilantro -2 teaspoon (chopped)
INSTRUCTIONS
In a bowl, combine the garlic, butter, parsley, salt, pepper, lemon juice and red chilli flakes together. Mix this well.
Place the fish fillets in this mixture. Rub the fish fillets with the spices properly. Cover or seal and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, remove these fish fillets from the fridge.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F ( 230 degrees Celsius ), remember to keep the oven on grill mode.
Take a grilling rack lined with aluminium foil.
Place the fish on it. Brush little vegetable oil over the fish. Place the rack on the top section of the preheated oven.
Grill 10 minutes per side or until fish is easily flaked with a fork.
Transfer to a serving plate.
Method of making lemon butter sauce.
Melt the butter in a medium sized saucepan over medium heat. Add chopped garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper and parsley. Bring it to boil. Cook and stir about 10 minutes, until thickened.
Pour the sauce over the grilled fish fillets, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves or cilantro and serve with steamed vegetables and french fries.
Serve it instantly.
