Ghazal Khan, working in the field of Divyangjan cricket since 2014, was honored with the Global Excellence Award by Samarth Seva Sansthan. She was given this award by the famous social worker of Mumbai Bhagyashree Vartak, Social Welfare Officer of Jhalawar Mr. Meena, Chairman of Samarth Seva Sansthan Mr. Ramji Lal, President of Maharashtra Apang Sanstha Mr. Bhagwan Talware, etc.
A short documentary on Ghazal Khan was also screened during the award ceremony. The struggles of her life were narrated in the documentary. How she defeated death and brought laurels to India in the country and abroad. After watching her documentary she was applauded by the audience with loud applause.
Ghazal Khan is currently the CEO of the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India, Vice Chairperson of the International Council of Wheelchair Cricket, and Secretary of International Affairs of the International Cricket Council for the Physically Challenged. Ghazal Khan is working for the disabled not only in the country but also all around the world. Her aim is to give every disabled player the same status as a normal player, the same platform that normal players get, and the same comforts and facilities that normal players get.
The work Ghazal Khan has done at the age of just 28 is really commendable and don’t know how many honors are waiting for her to honor in the future.
