By Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief MK Stalin called on Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal Purohit at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday and staked claim to form government in the state.
He was unanimously elected leader of the legislature party on Tuesday.
He will function from today and take the oath and it was low key events due to pandemic.
He is new chief minister and setting up his team and to function the state .
He will check the situation of covid-19 cases and plan according to the ground reports.
He will meet district minister to review the situation of particular district.
