Dinesh Ramdin Retires, Announced His Retirement On Immediate Basis: Former West Indies team captain and illustrious wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Ramdin on, 18 July announced his retirement from international cricket immediately. Wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Ramdin, who came from Trinidad, and became part of the West Indies team in 2005, has also been seen in franchise cricket, with many records recorded in his name.
Dinesh Ramdin played his last international match in the year 2019 in December. When the West Indies team came to play the T20 series on the tour of India and Ramdin got a chance to play his last match at the Hyderabad ground. Denesh Ramdin has played 74 Tests, 139 ODIs, and 71 T20Is in international cricket, in which a total of 5,734 runs have been seen with his bat.

With his retirement announcement, Dinesh Ramdin said, I feel very happy to inform you that I am now going to say goodbye to international cricket. The last 14 years were nothing less than a dream for me. I fulfilled my childhood dream in which I got a chance to play for Trinidad and Tobago for West Indies.
Ramdin further said that, even though I am going to say goodbye to international cricket, I am not saying goodbye to professional cricket. I will continue to play franchise cricket in the world. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have supported me consistently and reposed their trust in me over the last 14 years.
In the Caribbean Premier League, apart from the Tribango Knight Riders, St Kitts, and Nevis Patriots, Ramdin was not included in any team for the upcoming season, despite playing for the Guyana Amazon Warriors from 2013 to 2021 season. Let us tell you that Denesh Ramdin made his Test debut in 2005 against Sri Lanka at the Colombo ground. At the same time, he made his debut in ODI cricket against India at Dambulla ground this year.
In 2012 and 2016, when the West Indies team won the T20 World Cup, Dinesh Ramdin was also part of the team, which was one of the major memorable moments of his career. Now Ramdin will be seen playing in the second edition of Legends League Cricket (LLC), for which he has also given his consent.
