By CPL 2022: “We Are Delighted To Have De Kock and Miller Into The Squad”- Trevor Penney: South Africa Cricket Team’s wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock and explosive player David Miller will now be seen playing in another T20 tournament. De Kock and Miller have signed with the Barbados Royals team in the Caribbean Premier League. Both these players will be seen playing together.
Quinton de Kock will be participating in this tournament for the first time. At the same time, David Miller has previously played for Jamaica Tallawahs and St Lucia Jukes. Now he will be seen playing for Barbados. Afghanistan’s young spinner Mujeeb ur Rahman and Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Azam Khan will also play for Barbados Royals. The 2022 season of the Caribbean Premier League will begin on 31st August.

Barbados Royals coach Trevor Penney has expressed happiness over his overseas players. They said, We are delighted that we have signed some of the best overseas T20 players in the world. Quinton de Kock is a great match-winner player. He has done tremendously well for South Africa and different franchises.
We are happy that he has selected the Barbados Royals team to start his CPL career. On the other hand, David Miller and Corbin Bose have worked together in the Rajasthan Royals team. That’s why we know how capable they are. He understands the philosophy of the Royals very well.
Let us tell you that Barbados Royals are yet to fill five more slots, and they can complete their squad during the draft. The draft for CPL 2022 will be held on 7th July, and the team may get more players.
