India’s PV Sindhu showed her sublime skills on Friday as she beat Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong in straight games, but bowed out of the BWF World Tour Finals because of consecutive losses in first two matches.
The World Champion seemed to be in good knick after her initial failures as she upped her game in the first set to win it 21-18. It was a tight set for most parts with either of the players taking the lead and then conceding it.
But the best of the game was displayed when Sindhu was up 19-18. In a 26-shot rally that either player could have won multiple times on another day, the World Champion triumphed and with it earned two game points. She continued her dominance to end the game at 21-18.
