Popular bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal has died. The 80-year-old singer breathed his last in Delhi on Friday and had been unwell for a jiffy.
As per a Punjab Kesari report, he died at the city’s Phoebus Apollo Hospital around 12pm. He had been unwell since the last 3 months and was receiving treatment.
Music stars and different celebrities paid tributes to Chanchal on social media. Daler Mehndi wrote, “Deeply saddened to find out that picture and most admired #NarendraChanchal FTO has left U.S.A. for the heavenly abode. In prayers for his soul to rest in peace. dear condolences to his family and legions of fans. ”

Narendra Chachal is best proverbial for his performances at jaagrans. He has sung in style songs like Pyaara Saja Hai and Chalo Bulawa Aaya Hai. He has additionally sung songs like Main metal Bolna from officer. Last year, he went microorganism for his song Kitthon Aaya Corona.
Speaking to Hindustan Times concerning his venture into the jaagran culture, he had told HT in associate degree interview, “I followed my mother into jagran singing. folks would sit on daris (mats) then and simply leave U.S.A. a garland or 2 or a rupee in appreciation at the tip.
