Attention SBI customers! Update these documents by June 30 for continuation of services
India’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) had issued a notification asking all its customers to get their KYC done before May 30, however, there are still many who did not complete it before the deadline.
Now, SBI has answered what will happen to the account holders who did not complete their KYC yet. Issuing a notification, SBI had given time till May 30.
What happens if your SBI account gets suspended?
Once your SBI account is suspended, all the money deposited in your account will be frozen. You will stop receiving your government subsidy as well. Apart from this, whatever government facility you are getting directly in the bank account, will not be available further. After the account is suspended, you will neither be able to withdraw nor deposit money from your account.
