Andy Flower To Coach For Adani Group Franchise, Check The Whole Story Here: Adani Group bought a franchise in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) major T20 league in May this year. Now they have confirmed that former Zimbabwe cricketer Andy Flower has been appointed as the head coach of this team.

Let us tell you; that Andy Flower has coached many teams in various leagues and tournaments. The team Adani Group bought in this tournament is Gulf Giants. Andy Flower has coached the England team and served as the batting coach for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi (PZ). In IPL, he has worked as an assistant coach for the Punjab franchise. Most recently, he has served as the head coach in the team of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL, St Lucia Kings (SLK) in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and Multan Sultans (MS) in PSL.

After making Flower the team’s head coach, the group said, “Andy Flower is one of Zimbabwe’s finest players with over three decades of cricketing experience.” He has previously coached the England and Afghanistan teams. He played in franchise cricket for a long time with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in IPL, Maratha Arabians (MA), and Delhi Bulls (DB) in Abu Dhabi T10, Multan Sultans (MS) in PSL and St Lucia Kings (SLK) in CPL. 

Flower said, ‘I am happy that I am associated with the Adani Group. Many people know about the strength of this company and everything else. I am pleased. It feels great to participate in such big tournaments. As a leader, we have to put the best performance of our players in front of the world, and we are ready to do the same. The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) officially confirmed in June that the league will be played between January 6 and February 12, 2023. A total of 34 matches will be played between 6 teams.
