Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) chief executive Shishir Hattangadi told ESPNcricinfo: “Deepak Hooda and Kunal Pandya have settled their differences. They played together for the same team (Lucknow Super Giants) in IPL 2022 and excelled. Both players have solved their problems.
While we are optimistic about Hooda’s return, we are not sure as Rajasthan opened their doors to him when the all-rounder needed a team. We are trying our best, but we will have to wait for the final call from Hooda and Rajasthan.”
Shishir Hattangadi added: “Baroda is a small team, and having a man of Yusuf Pathan’s stature will benefit the talent. Our players don’t lack potential; they need a change in confidence level and mindset, and Yusuf would be a perfect fit for the role.”
