Akshay Kumar and cricketer Shikhar Dhawan shared a delightful moment together as they bumped into each other in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Shikhar Dhawan captured took the opportunity to click a selfie with the actor and shared it on Instagram. Needless to say, fans are going gaga over the picture and it is already viral on the Internet.

AKSHAY AND SHIKHAR’S VIRAL SELFIE

In the picture shared by Shikhar, the two are all smiles against the beautiful backdrop of a lake. While Akshay can be seen wearing a grey t-shirt with a brown headband wrapped around his forehead, Shikhar can be seen enjoying the day in a red hoodie and yellow shades.

Shikhar shared the lovely selfie with a heartwarming caption. “Always a fun time with you paaji. Lovely meeting you,” his caption read.

WHAT’S ON THE WORK FRONT?

Akshay Kumar has been shooting for Farhad Samji’s Bachchan Pandey in Jaisalmer. The film is the Hindi remake of 2014 Tamil film Veeram and stars Kriti Sanon and Arshad Warsi in lead roles. Akshay also has Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi alongside Katrina Kaif in pipeline. The film was supposed to hit the theatres last year, however, it got pushed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The makers haven’t announced the new release date yet. The actor’s upcoming films also include Raksha Bandhan, Bell Bottom and Ram Setu.

ABOUT BACHCHAN PANDEY

In Bachchan Pandey, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of a gangster. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon will play the role of a journalist. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and also features Pankaj Tripathi, Arshad Warsi and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles. The film was slated to release on Christmas last year. However, it got pushed as the shooting got delayed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Now it will release on January 26, 2022.
