The way he started with a drive and hit a straight six after the punch was really amazing. When he bats it looks like he is a million dollar player.
He further said, ‘Gill made a tremendous comeback and scored a half-century but I believe he missed the century. An opportunity not to be called lost but certainly missed. This is because he was batting very well and the hosts were feeling a lot of pressure at that time.
Let us tell you, there was an important century partnership of 119 runs for the first wicket between Gill and Dhawan. Due to this partnership, India scored 308 runs in 50 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Regarding the runout of Shubman Gill, Aakash Chopra said, ‘I believe that the way Gill got out, he ran very lazy. He himself had asked for this run. He ran a very lazy run, due to which he could not reach on time and was run out. I was a little disappointed with his run out.
Aakash Chopra further said, ‘In the toss, Shikhar Dhawan surprised us all when we got to hear that Shubman Gill is opening in place of Rituraj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan. Nobody expected Gill to play in this match but he batted well.
