By UEFA Champions League-Real Madrid beat Champions League semi-finals after defeating Liverpool: Real Madrid, under the guidance of Zinedine Zidan, made a comeback and beat Liverpool to enter the semi-finals of Champions League football.
Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp did not have a title in the season.
A record 13-time European champion Madrid will face Chelsea in the semi-finals. Madrid have reached the final four for the first time since beating Liverpool in the 2018 final and winning the European Cup for the third time in a row.
Zidan said, “We are moving forward together and this team always does this.”
The victory in the 2018 final as a coach was the last match of Zidan’s first term but he was re-named in 2019 after the team’s performance deteriorated. In this session, however, the results were not favorable until some time ago. In La Liga, their team trailed Atlético Madrid by ten points in January, now just one point behind.
