By 60-year-old accused of molesting minor in UP thrashed with shoes, expelled from village on panchayat orders
A panchayat in Uttar Pradesh ordered a 60-year-old man to be thrashed with shoes after he was accused of molesting a minor girl at Chandna village in Sardhana in Meerut district.
The incident reportedly took place on Monday when the parents of the 11-year-old girl were working in the field. Their neighbour and main accused, identified as Raj Kumar, took advantage of the situation and molested the girl when she was alone.
He was caught by the police.
