By 24 arrested for assaulting doctor at Assam’s Covid Care Centre
The Assam Police has arrested 24 people in connection with an alleged attack on a junior doctor at a Covid care centre in the Hojai district.
According to reports, family members of a deceased patient brutally thrashed a young doctor following the patient’s demise at Odali Model Hospital around 1:30 pm on Tuesday.
Now, 24 accused have been arrested for attacking the doctor, said Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet.
