Liton Das said that Bangladesh would have to bear the brunt of this year’s T20 World Cup 2022 to be hosted by Australia if they do not improve their style of hitting shots. Liton Das said after the third T20 International match, ‘I think our problem in today’s game was not performing well in the bowling unit, but then you have to give credit to Pooran and Meyers because they played some great shots off some good balls too.

Their positive side is that he plays powerful cricket, which we could not play. Sometimes it dominates the bowler’s mind that he can be smashed if he moves a little line here and there. It also affected our bowlers. Das said, ‘When it comes to T20 Internationals, we are far behind the good teams. We need to work on different areas. Primarily we need to play powerful cricket.

Many people say that the T20 game is about style, strategy, and technique, but I think being assertive is a must. I think we are way behind in this aspect. The grounds will be more extensive if we want to play for the World Cup. We will get reasonable confidence for the T20 World Cup if we practice and play matches.
