Veteran Kannada composer Rajan dies at 85 in Bengaluru
Veteran composer Rajan, who was a neighborhood of Kannada movie industry for quite four decades, gave up the ghost on Sunday (October 11) night thanks to gastric issues. He was 85. consistent with reports, Rajan was healthy and busy conducting taking online music classes for the past few months. However, a few of days ago, he fell sick thanks to indigestion and bloated stomach.
The veteran composer died all of a sudden at his residence in Bengaluru. Rajan is that the elder brother of popular composer Nagendra. Rajan and his brother Nagendra had been a part of quite 400 films and their contribution to Kannada movie industry is large .
The duo has given innumerable hits and one among the foremost popular composers within the 70s and 80s.
Rajan and Nagendra made their debut within the industry with a movie titled Soubhagya Lakshmi, which released in 1952. The film went on to become a blockbuster hit. Their music was one among the highlights of the film. they’re also known for his or her works in films like Gandhada Gudi, Devara Gudi, Eradu Kanasu, Naa Ninna Mareyalaare, Hombisilu, Bayalu Daari, Naa Ninna Bidalaare, Giri Kanye and Pavana Ganga.
They have also collaborated with popular singers Vani Jayaram, P B Srinivas, Chitra, S P Balasubrahmanyam and S Janakil.
Rajan’s son R Ananth Kumar was the primary to tell the planet about his father’s demise. Many celebrities and fans from Kannada movie industry expressed their condolences on social media.
It is worth mentioning that Rajan, a couple of years ago, started a music school Sapta Swaranjali in Bengaluru.
