Punjab CM tables 3 Bills to negate Centre’s farm laws; proposes fine, jail for violators selling, buying produce below MSP

The two-day geographical region Vidhan Sabha session resumed on Tues with Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh addressing the House and moving a resolution rejecting the 3 farm laws gone by Parliament.

The resolution mentioned that the 3 laws were “anti-farmer”. The Vidhan Sabha had earlier passed a resolution rejecting these laws.

“We reject the 3 agriculture laws furthermore because the Electricity change Bill 2020. These laws area unit against the interests of the farmers of geographical region, Haryana and western UP. The House nem con rejects these 3 laws and therefore the projected change,” he says.
