Karnataka bans firecrackers during Diwali in view of Covid-19 pandemic

The province government has determined to ban firecrackers this Diwali because it might badly impact the health of these UN agency have already been infected with Covid-19, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa proclaimed on Fri.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Yediyurappa aforementioned, “We have taken a choice to ban firecrackers within the state, in wake of COVID-19 pandemic. The order concerning the ban are issued shortly.”

On The, state health minister Dr K Sudhakar control a gathering with the state’s COVID-19 professional committee and technical informative committee. Sudhakar aforementioned the committee had deliberated on the execs and cons of forbidding firecrackers throughout Deepavali and had suggested a ban. “As the smoke will badly impact the health of these UN agency have already been infected by COVID-19 and even people who haven’t, can|we’ll|we are going to} place the committee’s report before the Chief Minister and he will take a judgement among daily or 2,” he had aforementioned.

The decision was taken by the Chief Minister when holding consultations with officers of the Health and Family Welfare Department on Fri.
