By IPL 2021-SRH vs RCB-Harshal’s Fultoss was right to be called No-boll: Sunrisers coach Bellis said: Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Trevor Bellis said that the umpires’ decision to call Hurthal Patel’s full-back no-ball in the last over was a no-no. Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the Sunrisers by six runs in this match.
Sunrisers captain David Warner was not happy with that decision. Bellis said, “He (Warner) was disappointed because we were not playing well and lost.”
He said, “The umpire’s decision was right.” Warnings were not given if the first ball was not aimed at the batsman’s body. The second ball was definitely Noble, so the umpires were right. ”
Harshal bowled the fourth ball of the 18th over but Noble was warned if he was on the leg side. After this, he got a warning when Fultos was put in the last over.
Bellis said that his team played good cricket for 35 overs out of 40. He said, “We gave away runs in the last few overs. After that, even in batting, three wickets fell in an over which were bad cricket and bad shots of the batsmen.
“We played well 35 overs but against such great teams the whole 40 overs have to be played,” he said.
On RCB’s decision to field Jason Holder in place of Mohammad Nabi, he said, “Nabi was hurt in the first match and was not fit.” His head was getting heavy and there was a lot of pain. That gave us a chance to field Jason. ”
