During second wave, India infected with delta variant of Covid -19. In third wave the new variant is Delta Plus variant which is the mutation of the Delta variant.
In second wave, in the research of volunteers it was found ,that the Delta variant is dangerous than other variant and person recover with Delta variant have developed more antibodies.
According to ICMR,
In second wave people infected with Delta variant have need only one dose of Covid-19 vaccine. Because they already recover from delta variant antibody and already developed in their body so Delta variant infected people need only one dose of vaccine which is sufficient for them . These antibodies protect person to fight against new variant of Delta.
In a new research, Covieshield is 65% effective on variant of corona where Covaxin is more effective
on new variants of Corona.
